An evil force keen on world domination, or destruction, or both, uses his powers and possesses various heroes and uses them as his tools to cause chaos...
As they are forced to escape through portals, the other heroes follow them through to find all of them in Subspace. Only a few seconds laer everyone had been taken except Mario. His own brother having been possessed, Mario set out with full determination to solve the problem and rescue the world (again).
